Description
The Fobes E-flat Clarinet Extension fits between the bell and the lower joint of the clarinet, adding a properly sized and positioned tone hole to produce the E/B twelfth. The sound is often impeded at the lower end of the E-flat clarinet, causing the long B-natural to be resistant and of a different timbre than the throat tones. The Fobes E-flat Extension alleviates this problem and also reduces the oversized twelfth interval. As a bonus, you will find your clarinet produces a more supple tone and even timbre throughout all registers.
Note: The Fobes E-flat Clarinet Extension does not extend the range of the E-flat clarinet.
Currently available in blackwood for Buffet clarinets only.
