This clarinet has been well cared-for since its manufacture in 1974, and even now, it plays with a vibrant, robust tone!
We’ve been part of this clarinet’s regular maintenance in recent years, including giving it a full overhaul in the past, but we’ve given it no less attention now in preparing it for its next owner! After our usual clean, oil, polish and wood treatment, we replaced many of the pads. Then we checked and adjusted every key, spring, and ring height, so it plays at its best. The wood is in great shape with no cracks in the body, though the plating has a little wear in a few places.
