Royal Global Steep Angle Bass Neck

New for 2026! Royal Global now offers a brand new bass clarinet neck shape, compatible with all Royal Global bass clarinet models. These necks provide a steeper angle of approach for the mouthpiece. This allows for a more comfortable playing position and improves the sound over the standard angle neck. In addition to the new angle, the new necks have a refined bore diameter, providing a more focused and responsive sound.

For many professional bass clarinetists, this has been a long requested feature, and we’re happy to say it’s finally here!

Note: A separate bass neck is required for Firebird Bass Clarinets, while Max Bass and Polaris Bass Clarinets use the same neck. The Firebird Bass neck will be available later in 2026.

When purchased separately, the Steep Angle Neck will require additional regulation to your bass clarinet. We can do this for you for just $40! Select the Steep Angle Neck Regulation from the drop down menu and add to your cart. To do the installation, we’ll need your upper joint and the neck only. We’ll hold your purchased neck here until your upper joint arrives. Once the work is complete, we’ll contact you to cover the remaining return shipping.
