With little previous play time, we received this clarinet in excellent condition! Even the plating is in wonderful shape.
As with all of our clarinets, this instrument has had a full cleaning and wood treatment. Afterwards, we spent over 8 hours to fully repad it, as well as adjust many things like key fitting, spring tension, ergonomics, synchronization, and much more. All of this results in a clarinet that not only sounds fantastic, but it will be perfectly reliable for years to come.
During our play-testing, we noticed that it produces an amazing sound – round but slightly brilliant.

Every clarinet is checked to make sure the following things are perfect:
- Pressure/Suction – No leaking pads
- Key Movement – No binding or drag
- Spring Tension – Proper tension and balance
- Ring Heights – Checked for proper evenness and height
- Pad Height Opening – Checked for proper venting (no stuffiness)
- Key Spatula Locations – Key positions checked for ergonomics
